Service Limitations
Our services are subject to the following limitations:
- Equipment must be accessible for inspection and repair
- Certain specialized parts may require extended delivery times
- Weather conditions may affect emergency service availability
- Some vintage or discontinued equipment may have limited repair options
Client Responsibilities
As a client of AquaTech Marine Workshop, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about equipment history and issues
- Ensure safe access to equipment for our technicians
- Maintain current insurance coverage for your marine equipment
- Comply with all applicable maritime safety regulations
- Pay for services according to agreed terms and schedules
Pricing and Payment Terms
Service Pricing
All service pricing is provided as estimates based on initial assessment. Final costs may vary depending on actual work required, parts needed, and unforeseen complications discovered during service.
Payment Terms
- Payment is due within 30 days of service completion
- Emergency services require 50% payment upfront
- Major repairs exceeding RM 5,000 require progress payments
- Late payment fees may apply after 30 days
Warranties and Guarantees
AquaTech Marine Workshop provides the following warranties:
- 90-day warranty on labor for standard repairs
- Manufacturer warranties apply to new parts and components
- Emergency repairs carry a 30-day limited warranty
- Warranty excludes normal wear, misuse, or external damage
Liability and Insurance
While we maintain comprehensive professional liability insurance, our liability is limited to the direct cost of services provided. We are not responsible for:
- Consequential damages or lost business income
- Equipment damage due to pre-existing conditions
- Delays caused by parts availability or weather
- Damage to equipment not directly related to our services
Cancellation and Scheduling
Appointment Cancellation
Service appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with 24-hour notice. Cancellations with less than 24-hour notice may incur a service call fee.
Emergency Services
Emergency services are available 24/7 subject to technician availability and weather conditions. Emergency service rates apply for after-hours calls.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from our services shall be resolved through:
- Direct negotiation between parties
- Mediation through recognized marine industry associations
- Arbitration under Malaysian law if necessary
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Malaysia and the state of Johor. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of Johor Bahru.
Changes to Terms
AquaTech Marine Workshop reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
